“Moon Over Buffalo” will be competing in EODL Festival
Prince Edward Community Theatre’s latest production “Moon Over Buffalo” will have audiences laughing out loud and begging for more! The group is currently in rehearsals preparing the farce by Ken Ludwig, who was also the playwright for last season’s sold out shows of “Leading Ladies”.
“If you loved Leading Ladies, your going to love Moon Over Buffalo. This show is just as funny, if not funnier and the cast is stellar! The chemistry among the actors is amazing and its such a joy to be a part of” says Georgia who plays Rosalind Hay in the show.
“Moon Over Buffalo” is Prince Edward Community Theatre’s entry into the EODL Festival this year. “Its a travelling Festival and the adjudicator will be coming to Mt. Tabor to see the show. There are opportunities to be nominated for acting, set design, costumes, and technical awards. It’s a very exciting process for both the actors and the crew and we are looking forward to once again representing Prince Edward County in the competition” Georgia says. Last year Prince Edward Community Theatre competed in Ottawa with “Educating Rita” and were nominated for three awards, Best Actress, Best Costumes and Best Technical Achievement and won the Arnold Connerty Award for Technical Achievement for their “Season Changing” window.
We invite everyone in the community to come and support us as we compete in the Festival with this very entertaining show. Its also wonderful way to chase away the winter blues!
